This will definitely be a change of circumstances for him. I'm happy for him

Damn it... now I am conflicted.
I want Gio to have success, but my hatred of Brady is too strong to cheer for that team....

Well, we'll find out if Gio is the game breaking superstar who was used incorrectly in Cincy, I guess.
The training, nutrition, medicine, fitness, playbooks and rules evolve. The athlete does not.

Think of Gio as the silver lining to another Tom Brady Super Bowl win. I also hate him.
Like Chris Bosh was my silver lining to LeBron's championship with the Heat.

Except we probably won't, because he'll be 30 and in his 9th NFL season. RBs aren't like Alex Smith at QB who can turn 29, go to a new team, and transform into a Pro Bowl QB for a half decade.
Even Corey Dillon who I honestly believe would have been a HoFer right now if he didn't play for the 90s-early 00's Bengals, was only a bit better his first year New England (1,635 yards/4.7 YPC) than his best year with the Bengals (1,435 yards/4.6 YPC)... because he was 30 and in his 8th NFL season it made you wonder what if.

I don't get the Tom Brady hatred. The man is the best to ever play the position, conducts himself as a gentleman at all times during interviews, is a family man who is not out running around on his family, takes cuts to his contracts to help build the team around him. The only hint of scandal around Brady was deflate-gate. I mean, I know it's hard to watch another team have so much success, but hatred for Brady just shows one's envy. Now, Rapistburger, I hate him and can understand anyone that does, that scum belongs in prison. What has Brady done to warrant such hatred?
At any rate, I am glad Gio landed on his feet and has a great chance to go deep into the playoffs and possibly win a ring with the Bucs.

only reason to hate Tom Brady is that hes not on your team. (or beat your team several times in a superbowl)
Dude is the GOAT and just keeps going.

With Fournette and Darby already on the roster, I think it will be RB by committee with Bernard filling the role of 3rd down specialist who can protect the passer and serve as a check down.
What do you think?

He's a young 30 though. Not many injuries and not a terribly high amount of touches for a 30 year old.
Sproles (who many have compared Gio to) was effective into his mid thirties.

I think you're right. But if Gio were the player many think he was, he'd likely be in store for his best season on a team that truly recognizes his talent and worth.

So Brady gets himself the best pass blocking back in the NFL, not to mention one of the best receiving backs. I see a lot of two back sets in the Bucs future...

I remember when I was in an elevator with him and his girlfriend downtown and they were just super-polite and got a picture with me.
When I rolled off the elevator, they were talking about how much they loved me and the way I "talked".
Gio might be older but Tom Brady loves his scat backs and I think Gio will have a big year.
Glad to see him in Tampa and I hope he gets a ring there if we don't get one!

I don't hate him myself but he does do that punk sore loser routine of not shaking hands with the opposing QB after some losses. I've even seen video of the other QB wandering around looking for him, but he's long gone. Other than that, I think it's just envy with the Brady hate.
