Made a trade back with Vikings in fourth to pick up extra 4th round pick this year.
5: R1 P5 WR Ja'Marr Chase 6' 201lbs - LSU
Bengals offense had weapons with Mixon, Boyd and Higgins. Now they added a legit #1 WR with elite skills and talent. (If Pitts falls that's be great as well. If they go Rashawn Slater with this pick, I won't be mad.) And...they've already played together. 41" vertical (96th percentile), 132" broad jump (96th), Bench 23 reps (97th), 4.38 40 yard (97th), 3.98 short shuttle (97th) = Elite athlete. 8 TDs over 50 yards in 2019. He'll open up space underneath for Higgins and Boyd and keep a safety over the top to help Mixon get it done.
38: R2 P6 OT Liam Eichenberg 6’6” 306lbs. Notre Dame
Ohio native. Stud from OL academy. Should be a starter quality tackle. Significant improvement day 1 over last year's starting RT. Athletic enough (not great). Better run blocker than pass blocker for now. Was a team captain at ND. Six of seven draft picks last year by Bengals were captains. Experts point out his arms are an inch too short. I think he'll easily make up for that with all his other tools. If he has a good camp I'd love to see the Bengals start their best five linemen which could mean Riley or Jonah going inside to guard.
69: R3 P5 C Quinn Meinerz 6'3" 320lbs - UW-Whitewater (the Warhawks!)
Bengals didn't offer 5th year option to Billy 'the' Price 'is not right.' Quinn is a small school prospect who dominated at this pro day and senior bowl. Can play guard or center which is huge, because we need help at all three positions. Numbers and percentiles were outstanding: 32" vertical (90th), 111" broad jump (90th), 4.86 40 yard (99th), 4.47 short shuttle (93rd) and 7.33 3-cone (97th). Huge athlete with a wrestling background. Athleticism will allow him to get down the field on screens. Trey Hopkins may not be ready at start of the year at Center so could compete with Price for starting role.
119: R4 P14 CB Robert Rochell 6' 193lbs - Central Arkansas (the Bears)
Being in a Nickle formation more than half the time, Bengals need to take a cornerback each draft. They signed two free agents (Awuzie and Hilton) this year but we need a young gun to develop. This guy has all the size and athleticism to play on Sundays. 43" vertical (99th percentile), 133" broad (86th), 4.39 40 yard (85th). Mainly experienced in press but can play a variety of schemes. Attacks the ball like a WR evident by his 12 INTs with the Bears. Good technique tackling - wraps and drives. Needs to get stronger and apparently struggled against pro level talent when he faced it. These areas are coachable though.
125: R4 P20 EDGE Payton Turner 6'6" 268lbs - Houston
Shocked if he lasts this long. Size (height, weight and long arms) the Bengals love and twitchy quick athlete. Bengals recently have had an affinity for Houston players so thinking they are going here. Day 1 he can hold the edge against the run. His top level agility (6.7 3-cone 99th percentile and 36" vertical 76th) and quickness (4.25 short shuttle 84th) should mean that he can develop into a pass rusher. Bengals have a pair of ends but, we need one in the pipeline.

Smart player that played every position on DL for Texas. Backup role player that can flex as needed. 35" long arms with heavy hands that can keep blockers at bay. Good athlete - 32 reps (86th percentile). 4.93 40 yard (73rd). Team captain for Longhorns.

Getting repetitive here - another team captain and another Houston player. Agility and change of direction is off the charts with a 6.46 3-cone drill. That was the best time this year of all prospects. Also ran a 4.45 and the highlights show even faster speed. Returned kicks at Houston so could help with that as well (with Erickson moving on). Regardless of route, at Houston, each reception he had a chance to be a homerun. Bengals had some WR move on this year and we usually draft WRs in pairs.
202: R6 P18 G Kendrick Green 6'4" 315lbs - Illinois
Surprised he was here at this point in the simulation. Athlete. Experienced in outside zone run schemes. Ran the 40 in 4.85 which put him in the 99th percentile among his peers this year. NFL.com says is a backup talent but could become a starter. Here's hoping that with Pollack's coaching and Kendrick's familiarity with the scheme, he can become a starter. All big ten team selection which is a considerable award due to the competition. Has experience at guard and center. Will need to develop as pass blocker. Off the bat should be able to handle run blocking assignments from the guard position.
235: R7 P7 K Evan McPherson - Florida
Each year the Bengals lose a close game due to a missed field goal. Enough playing around. Bengals signed Austin Seibert after Bullock left. Bring in Evan to compete with Austin. We need a kicker who can win us a game or two this year.
