1) Penei Sewell T Oregon

The Chase pick would limit your day 2 board.
Team Sewell because its the right pick!

2) Payton Turner Edge Houston
https://youtu.be/UL5VMrCzr-Q
I like the pick here without limiting the board.

3) Dyami Brown WR UNC
https://youtu.be/RhufZDqJgGk
This pick just happens to fit. ( Smith- Marsette #2)
Averaging 20yrds a catch over the last 2yrs helps.

4) Kendrick Green LG Illinois
https://youtu.be/tkXow5GitJc
I like the scheme versatility and toughness.

5) Milton Williams DL Loiusiana Tech
https://youtu.be/4-DGEv1Sw6o
He'll have room to grow and adjust to the game.

6) Derrick Barnes LB Purdue
https://youtu.be/Am-UJffGrJg
I like bringing local talent back home especially if they can flat out play.

7) Elijah Mitchell RB Louisiana
https://youtu.be/RjhzDTkJuE4
A great RB w/ good vision and burst.
Very underrated prospect!

7) Andre Cisco S Syracuse

We can use another young hungry ballhawk.

Not sure brown nor Milton make it that far but if the draft turned out like this I’d shit. Good stuff

I think Brown has a bit to do as far as the drops but without a doubt a solid prospect who would be a day one competitor. I'm in the minority on this view but I think "thee" guy is already on the roster in Auden Tate but thats for another debate. As with the other guy I just believe that the RAS should match the tape. I didn't see elite but a prospect who could develop year two into an over achiever and challenge to be a starter.
I like him on the 4th or 5th round

I think you have Dyami Brown in the right spot for where he should go, but I do also agree with others that he could end up going in Rd 2.
I also agree that 5th is probably too late for Milton Williams, but ya never know. Given the hype around him, I'd be shocked to see him even make it to Rd 4 though.

This draft would be a home run if it happened though.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: 3-5 so far. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.

Sorry for Party Rocking!

The only thing that I worry about is the powers that be finally letting Mikey in the draft room. If hes allowed out the the pick is Chase! Don't go chasing Walker "Play" Little after the run on offensive lineman 20-38.
Now remember this organization chose not to sign anyone outside of Rieff and cut the proper players to secure the $ for opening it up. I never thought in a million years that Team Sewell would have a chess piece that could maybe sway. Paul Alexander has been working out w/ Sewell for an extensive time in CA. Bring it home Paul!

I have been hearing that people are really thinking Little goes earlier because of his athleticism and length.
But I just can't see how you can take a gamble in the 2nd round on a guy who hasn't really played since 2018.
He's really a 4th rounder to me that you can MAYBE reach for in Rd 3.

With that said, he could end up being one of the best OTs from this draft class, and may just need a year to knock the rust off.
Risky.

So ocho lets talk draft.
First question : Does la Chase pick limit your board in 2/3? Everyone in the league knows your going o-line. The run will happen 20-38 if you draft Chase & if you don't and draft Sewell go to bed.

Here's who would all have to be gone for me to really worry about OL at 38:
1) Sewell
2) Slater
3) Darrisaw
4) Vera-Tucker
5) Jenkins
6) Cosmi
7) Leatherwood
8) Radunz
9) Eichenberg
10) Mayfield
11) Carman
12) Davis
13) Humphrey

I highly doubt all 13 of those guys will be taken in the first 37 picks. I'd consider Dickerson at 38 too but I hear there are concerns with his medicals, so there's more risk. I'd feel better with him in Rd 3 if the medical concerns are legit, but he's good enough when healthy to be the 38th selection.

I have Spencer Brown, Little, Christensen, Hudson, Cleveland, Green, Smith in the 3rd-max range. I would not reach for any of those guys at 38 just to take an OL.

Now if we do WR, here's what would have me worried about taking a WR at 38:
1) Chase
2) Waddle
3) Smith
4) Bateman
5) Marshall
6) Toney
7) Moore

So I think it's far more likely a worthy OL candidate is there at 38 over a WR.

As such, I'd lean toward Chase (or Pitts) at 5 and then get an OL at 38 vs Sewell and then WR.
