Most colleges do.
I think people typically would say that the SEC, ACC, and Big 10 are the best conferences.
However, each conference only has about 3-5 good teams.

Teams in the Top 25 by Conference:
SEC - 4 (4 in Top 10)
ACC - 5 inc. Notre Dame (2 in Top 10)
Big 10 - 4 (1 in Top 10)
Big 12 - 4 (2 in Top 10)
PAC 12 - 2 (0 in Top 10)
Other - 6 (1 in Top 10)

I know they'll never do it, but I'd love if the teams from the Power 5 conferences had to play a team from each of the other Power 5 conferences based on rank.
For example, Alabama would have to play Clemson, Ohio St, Oklahoma, and Oregon next year because they won their conferences.
That would provide stiffer competition for the powerhouse teams.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.

Sorry for Party Rocking!
