They don't now, but Mixon's rookie season they couldn't mention his name for anything without bringing it up. I don't know anything about Mixon or this guys upbringing. One of the first things my father ever taught me was men don't hit women. Period. Full Stop. Some of these players probably never heard that growing up until it blew up in their faces on the national stage. Mixon sure seems to have gotten the message and has seemingly become a better man who keeps his nose clean and to the grindstone. I'd offer Williams the same chance..... as long as it never happens again.

This is one of the weakest UDFA classes I've seen Bengals sign in awhile. Is this it?

I like the players, it just seems like usually we sign a lot more. I suppose they can add people before camp. Covid has a lot of stuff messed up I guess.

This was a weird UDFA period; you have teams like the Giants that signed 3 guys, while the Falcons signed 20 guys (and MAYBE 2 of the 20 look like they're worthwhile, from a quick glance), both an extreme undershoot, compared to prior years and an extreme overshoot, compared to prior years.

Well, they did just draft 10 players, and had some significant turnover in free agency, seems like they brought in plenty of bodies to compete for what spots they intend to fill. Plus there is still a chance that they add yet, another veteran through free agency before the season.
Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations

the team still has not announced anything. We have 65 under contract+the 10 draft picks. In past years they could have 90 in camp which would mean they could have up to 15 UDFA. Last year it was limited to 80. The teams had to disinvite players. So it could be they are waiting on training camp guidance before announcing anything or signing more

This was expected across the board due to the pandemic, with only 657 prospects declaring as opposed to last year’s 1,032. Before the draft, it was also predicted that the talent pool would be more shallow in the latter rounds, although it seemed to me that there were some pretty intriguing prospects still on the board late. I’m not sure if it’s still the case, but last time I looked, the Patriots hadn’t signed a single UDFA. From our list, I like the corner and Rb Pooka Williams (intrigued by him as a potential return specialist).

I don't know how the Falcons are signing a bunch of guys. They are in absolute cap hell.

South Carolina fan here...anyone here know what happened to UDFA Collin Hill? He was pretty much a train wreck in his one year here at QB and was surprised he was even picked up as a UDFA. Don't see him on the team's roster anything. Last I heard he was headed to the rookie minicamp but can't find anything since then.

Subsequent to the reports of Hill signing they invited QB Eric Dungey to a try-out and signed him and he appears on the roster but Hill doesn't. So I guess that Hill either failed the medical or the Bengals decided Dungey offered more what they were looking for as a camp arm.

All true and agree on Pooka being the most likely of this year's UDFA's to make it.

Just watched the Spring League mega bowl last week and the QB on the Lineman looked good.
Also the QB on the team that played against the Lineman has a history with Zac. But he didn't look near as good.
I don't like our backup QB situation, is Dolegala still around?

Thanks George, too bad, actually liked that guy as he had arm talent unlike Finley.
