I finished a job making 17 doors and picked up one for 35 doors and about 9 drawers..
Man! My shop is full of door parts and parts of door parts and assorted lumber and plywood.
I found a supplier to buy 48" 1x7 cypress boards for $3 each. Cypress generally runs around $4.50 per board foot so I'm paying around $1.35 per minus all the waste and sawdust. I have to run everything through the planer and it'll fill up my dust collection system in an hour or so. The bag holds about 40 gallons of sawdust and so far I've emptied it 3 times on this job alone out in the yard in low spots.. Man! Fun, fun fun!
Ok..boring as hell, but it pays the bills..
And they all have to be sanded, primered, sanded again, painted then installed and adjusted..
