Cam Sample update

Who knows what to believe considering we still haven’t gotten a straight answer on Ossai, but this sounds like good news.

Looked like a stinger to me.

Sample has a great motor. I think he will be a solid rotational piece this season. As a fourth round selection, that is saying something.

Motor is good, but when you cant chase down Heinickie, I’m not super impressed lol

Heinickie is quick. He was running past Tampa defenders in the wild card last season

In fairness, Sample is more of a pass-rushing interior lineman than an edge guy.  Not too sure that many of those in the NFL could catch him either.

For the record, I liked what I saw out of Sample for the most part. He was getting pressure consistently. Just pointed out he was slower than I thought he would be, which got me in a bit of trouble above.

Also, I guess I’ve underestimated Heinicke speed? Just know that in the AFC with Lamar, Mahommes and Allen, you’re gonna need some speed to catch those guys.

He looks more like an undersized UT to me.
He definitely doesn't have the bend of an edge player.
