Another reason ZT probably felt good about going for it on their own 30. Just should have put the ball in Joe's hands to make a play.

Even scaredy cat Marvin woulda been comfortable going for it on 4th if he had stuck around another 20 years for the entire Burrow era. Ninja

Now do 3rd down.

He's been very good on 4th down, and I like that, but that can only be so good when you have that many 4th down attempts due to being quite bad on 3rd down.

55-91 (60%) for 639 yards, two TDs and three INTs for a 75 rating.

Minimum 5 attempts is humorous. This HAS TO normalize over the years… if it doesn’t then this kid is walking on water.

Right.  Only a QB who sucked really bad on third down would have 12 fourth down attempts since 2020.  Like Matt Ryan with 22, Aaron Rodgers with 15, Matt Stafford with 12, and Tom Brady and Russell Wilson with 11.

Hilarious

If you just look at the first three quarters (to eliminate 4th quarter desperation calls) Marvin was actually in the top half of the league (15th) in going for it on fourth down.  His 105 attempts was slightly above the league average of 102.4

Cool, and how many games did they play? Because Burrow played 10.5 games to reach his 16.

That is sweet. Now Burrow and company just need to get better on 3rd down as TLL notes.

Think we will with better play by the OL and our weapons. Love our dump down players, especially our RB's and Uzo.

3rd down and 4th down are totally different situations. U go for it on 4th rarely and you have multiple 3rd downs a game... Of course he's not gonna be perfect o. 3rd down.. Esp. 3rd and long..

Of course, doesn't mean he shouldn't get better on 3rd downs and I believe Joe would most definitely agree...

Just need to have better 1st and 2nd downs that put us in shorter 3rd down situations. Last year we were terrible on these downs.

Amazing Joe's numbers are as good as they are honestly on 3rd down.

More like the oline needs to get better.. 3RD is when most of the pressure comes...

They should never throw for another 4th down. Nowhere to go but down.

Was thinking they should go for every 4th down from here on out with those stats lol

Aaron Rodgers 15 in 17 games
Burrow 12 in 11 games

Looks like Burrow sucks just as bad on third down as the leagues MVP from last year.

Until they drafted McPherson, I think most would be fine with that.  Rock On

True, happy the OL is looking better this year so far with this outside zone under Pollack. Really shows especially in run blocking.

Hopkins needs to show he is healthy though or we should definitely think about starting Trey Hill at C if he deserves it.

Hopkins was our only real weakness on the OL last game and Sample trying to block Danielle Hunter lol
