Good in the 1st and 3rd (by number of misses). Not as good in the 2nd and 4th. 1st Q- 27/33 82%, 6 misses 2nd Q- 58/69 84% 11 misses 3rd Q- 31/37 84% 6 misses 4th Q- 50/61 82% 11 misses Overall 166/200 83% "The measure of a man's intelligence can be seen in the length of his argument."

That said, I get that people will remember the misses more, so 11 misses in the 4th is what will stick in the craw of Randy bashers. Not the 50 makes or respectable 82%. I'll be honest though, I thought his 4th qtr % would be much worse based on all I've read on here.

He just has some high profile misses and 4th qtr kicks are kind of magnified, especially if they are late. "The measure of a man's intelligence can be seen in the length of his argument."

Does 4th Qtr include OT period of games? What about extra points throughout the whole game? I'm not piling on Randy. Just wondering.

Unless he makes them, in which case there isn't a peep on the board about it. He made his 2nd game winning OT kick of the season and only a thread was made for the miss. He's now 15/17 on FGs this year. McPherson? 10/13 on FGs this year, and one week after this thread was made McPherson missed a 49 yarder in OT. This thread was bad karma. ____________________________________________________________
