Eli Apple puts Goodberry on notice
#21
For a depth player, which is what he was when they signed him, he was a solid add. He's got all of the physical tools to play on the boundary, he just never stayed heathy or consistent. Apple kind of reminds me of the ld Marvin-era ex-first rounder reclamation guy. I'm glad he's playing well. I'm interested to see how Flowers does with more snaps as well.

I love seeing a player give it back to an "expert" that has no football experience in his life past probably 8th grade.

Apple hasn't been the greatest but he's certainly better than so many of the options the Bengals ran out there last year and as he gets more comfortable in Lou's defense he has continued to improve. The guy isn't perfect and he gets burned at times but name a corner in the NFL that doesn't??

Humphrey is all world by league standards and looked lost Sunday.
