No Defense Against Short Passes

More blitzing perhaps? But the offense failed to put points early to put away the Jets, the Jet's defense was not even as strong as the their offense was dominating.

The offense had an off-day and it happens, but 31 points on an off-day? This is the same defense that made Jackson look like a rookie and made White look like the second coming of TB12.

But our defense got their asses handed to them all day long.  A team like the jets should not have been close enough for that interception to make ny difference.

The defense kept the team 3 points from a tie or a TD for the win. The offense didnt do it with 3:46 on the clock.  As "bad" as the defense is perceived because of the high score game, the offense didnt delivered when they had to.

It wasn't that the defense let us down by 2-3 scores.

Lou should be embarrassed that a rookie QB who is likely going to get destroyed next week, shredded him for 400+. The issue i have when we let young QBs kill us is the very next week these young QBs usually get destroyed. So the issue isn’t just we faced the second coming of Joe Montana, the issue is we just sucked. I don’t like that. The Bears are pure ass and we coached down to them, the Jets are the worst team in football and had a 3rd stringer playing and we played down to them. This is unacceptable.
