It is funny how all these crazy rules are rearing their head. I had never heard of such a thing until last week. The NFL needs to get their act together. If the fans and better yet the players have no clue they will kill the brand.

Didja ever think that maybe that muscular 5.5 average has something to do with WHEN he runs as opposed to HOW he runs? I know you think Gio is the 2nd coming of The Biebz and all, but he isn't going to average 5.5 ypc if they run him every first and ten.

That's a long standing rule.  It's because the QB can take off with it, so there has to be the ability to combat a WR who can start blocking you...
