Ball spinning does not merit a fine

For the 2nd time the powers that be that issue fines have decided a dubious taunting call isn't worth issuing a one.

#Bengals WR Ja'Marr Chase was not fined for his taunting penalty in Sunday's win against the Ravens.

Second time in three games (Vonn Bell vs 49ers) a Bengals player has been flagged for taunting but didn't receive the fine that usually accompanies the call.

If they must have a taunting rule it should be a 5 yard penalty with no automatic first down.

in this sport where we physically attempt to hurt each other, let us not taunt verbally or otherwise. the brain damage is not something people should worry about.

Speaking of officiating, I realized that if the Bengals win today, they eliminate the Browns and render the Monday night Pig-worship useless, although pitt can still contend for a wild card, the Browns would be eliminated.
