Three (3) Bengals on list of 2021 top 10 clutch performers. Are we dreaming?

Higgins and Boyd could also easily be on that list.

A bunch of the other guys on that list are veteran players (Brady, Kupp, Tucker). We otoh have 2 rookies and a 2nd year player on there. The future is very, very bright in Cincinnati.

The drafts (at least the early rounds) since Taylor came in have been pretty solid.

Regardless of what happens in the postseason this year, I really hope this upcoming draft and FA get the Bengals even higher to be considered true perennial contenders like the Titans and Chiefs.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.

Sorry for Party Rocking!

Not to dampen any enthusiasm, but imho that list is a bit pointless.

Eg. first place Cooper Kupp, explaining that oh he did not really have that many memorable clutch plays but he is just so good overall. And then they still put four kickers on the list for making game winning field goals. What thought process is behind that anyway.

Tyler Boyd is Mr. Clutch on this team.

Since 2018 only 3 players (Keenan Allen, Devonte Adams, and Tyreke Hill) have more catches for first down conversions on 3rd and 4th down than Boyd.

NO ONE has more first down receptions on 4th down than Boyd's 10. Devonte Adams also has 10, but his came on 18 targets compared to Boyds 14. Twenty-two players have at least 10 targets on 4th down since 2018. Among those 22 only one player (Calvin Ridley) has a higher catch percentage than Boyd's 71.4 (10 of 14). Ridley's is 75% (9 of 12) but only 7 of his 9 receptions went for a first down.

Boyd's total yards and receptions don't look as impressive as many other WRs, but none of them have been more clutch over the last 4 years.

All this good news just adds to the excitement for this team. Can you imagine how good this team could be if Burrow had an OL so good, that he could step into the pocket and let it rip on most of his throws ?

According to this article, Chase is also contributing in this area:

"And how about the biggest moments? Well, Chase shines there, too. His performance in Cincinnati's win over Kansas City stands as proof, and that's not all. Chase has recorded +102 yards after catch over expected on third and fourth downs this season, the second-best mark in the NFL, per NGS. He's also gained 3 yards per route run on third and fourth down, the fourth-best average in the league. So it's not just deep touchdown passes or timely scores -- Chase is consistently proving to be a reliable target in the most important situations. And, again, he's only a rookie."

And Kelce at TE

What if we had Aaron Donald and Myles Garrett on our D-line and Jalen Ramsey at CB.

I wonder if we couldn 't snatch Kelsey away at his next contract, and have him come back to Cincinnati now that Burrow is here.

Travis or Jason?

Jason is set to hit FA this offseason.
That could be very appealing for him to play for his hometown before he retires.
He's still playing at a high level, but he probably only has 2-3 years left.

Travis Kelce is signed with KC through 2025. He'll be 36 years old by then.

Do I sense a note of sarcasm here Fred ? Hey,it’s been a while since we’ve had this much hope and excitement in the Bengals.Let’s enjoy it.We can dream a little as well, can’t we ? Seriously doubt we have any new significant additions to the OL in the offseason, but it would be nice.

Jason Kelce seems like a slam dunk pick up

I was talking about Travis, but did not know he was locked up that long.
