1 they wouldn't have had time to. Burrow walking up and pointing to defenders like he was calling out blocking assignments and then just putting his hands under the center and having the center snap immediately wouldn't have given them any time because they wouldn't have known that's why he was doing it.

2 if they do, you just snap the ball and hand it to the back where they shifted from. It's much easier to block down.

3 how many defenders do you think they have?

He would have been by Hopkins before Hopkins could have even brought his hands back in front of him.

Bottom line is the offensive line wasn't better, so you call plays to work around that.
