Good, 1 more loss for us to go towards a possible comp. pick in 2023

I am so ready for 2024 season. I love pro football and hoping for a great Bengals year. Regardless, always remember it is a game and entertainment.

Cappa for Johnson? Seems fair to me.

Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations

FWIW, OTC, which is just an estimator, has our comp pick formula in the negative.

Barring injury, Fred ain't gonna play much in Tampa: Wirfs & Donovan Smith.

CFAs gained = 3. Cappa (5), Karras (6), Hurst (7).
CFAs lost = 1. Uzomah (5).
Non CFAs gained: None.
Non CFAs lost = 1. Phillips.

Now, Ogunjobi (4) (if the failed physical does not alter things), and Reiff (5), signing elsewhere would balance things out. IDK if Reiff is a starter anymore though.

They have Spain, Flowers Fred, XSF, Harvreaves, Evans, and Huber as non CFAs, though that can change.

Point is, it is extremely unlikely we come out on the plus side. We should just focus in building the best team and lifting a Lombardi.

Hendrickson is going to look nice blowing by Fred in the Super Bowl to sack TB12 as we win our first title. Burrow, of course, gets Super Bowl MVP.

Don't think you get a comp pick for cutting someone. Lol

Also pretty sure it doesn't matter when the Bengals signed 3 OL and a TE in FA (though I think maybe Collins doesn't count toward comp picks since he was also released), either way pretty sure no comp pick is coming.

FJ was kind of maddening to watch.  He was great on screens/pulls but would get walked into his QB's lap if he was asked to actually anchor and block.
