I can’t attend tonight’s discord. We have unexpected company, so I will be “entertaining” while drafting.

It’s apparently a poorly-kept secret that new Jags coach Doug Pedersen wants to go O with the #1 pick, even though the 2 best players, in most experts’ eyes, are defensive players.

GM Trent Baalke is probably the most despised man in the city, and therefore he’s not going to try to overrule DP, whom Jags fans really like. For the time being..

Bad luck for them to earn the #1 overall pick in a draft that isn’t very top-heavy, with no clear BPA.

Unless a trade down opportunity presents…
