My 2023 Watchlist "Aug" Finale

2023 Watchlist

RB:
1) Bijan Robinson RB Texas
https://youtu.be/5Mmtfmqb0MI
For me I'm not the biggest fan but his game is so elite in all phases. The minute I think that I have a comp it just doesn't equal to what he gives you on the field because its not enough. He'll be a first round RB but I don't see him going top 10. I don't have a comparison ar all.

2) Sean Tucker RB Syracuse
https://youtu.be/Rdw1Z-W55XM
I'm just going to tell you now that I see an above average pro in what he brings. If I told you my comp you'd think that it was because of his number.... He used to play for Buffalo and that's my only hint. As of June I like him to become a Bengal in round two but he'll get Rd 1 love believe me.

3) Jahmyr Gibbs RB Alabama
https://youtu.be/dRTZfDMQcgA
Now you may not be able to see it in his Georgia Tech tape but I think he takes the next step to superstar with Alabama. Hes Alvin Kamarra!

4) Zach Charbonnet RB UCLA
https://youtu.be/aiBFWqqfHDI
I'm sort of old school because I like big running back that can move! This is my guy because I know that barring injury he'll be in our discussions next spring.
I love his game.

5) Blake Corum RB Michigan
https://youtu.be/ZDebJvpcNQY
If you sleep this guy could have 1300 yard on the ground this season. He'll get the size **** but this prospect holds 200-210 easily.

6) Izzy Abanikanda RB Pitt
https://youtu.be/pa3EOz2mrJw
To me the most underrated RB in the draft with all of the tools to be successful at the next level. An upright running style in the mold of Eric Dickerson comp.

If the Bengals have a chance to draft Bijan Robinson, I really do hope he's the pick.
He proved last year he's a stud both as a runner and receiver.
I think he'd make a great Mixon replacement.
Mixon is set to make $12.85 mill in 2023 and $13.13 mill in 2024.
That's quite a lot to pay for a RB when you're more of a passing team.
Add in that the Bengals would only have a dead cap of $5.5 mill in 2023 if Mixon is released, and it seems like a no-brainer if they need (or want) to repurpose that cap savings elsewhere.

I also would love Michael Mayer too though, so if both happened to (somehow) be available when Bengals pick, it'd be a tough choice.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.

Sorry for Party Rocking!
