Computer locked up
#1
Somebody on here that is more savy with windows 11? I was looking up something for my girlfriend today, a poem actually and all of a sudden it started flashing and sirens go off. Next thing this lady is telling me my computer is locked. This has happened once before a long time ago, but I dont remember how to unlock it. Any help would be much appreciated

That sounds like a malware attack brother.

If you can start your computer in safe mode, you can download AdwCleaner. It's free and safe to use, and should remove any recent threats. If for some reason that doesn't work, you can download the free version of Malwarebytes from the same site. It does a deep dive and pretty much finds everything. It takes a few minutes though.

I have had this happen to me different. And it did not involve porn in any way. But it went away when I just shut down my computer and restarted it.

The first time it happened I actually called the number on the screen, but I hung up when he started asking me to let him take control of my computer to fix the problem.
