It's interesting to me that they didn't place Chase on the IR-R list.

Does anyone know how it works if the Bengals play him on IR following the game? Since he was inactive this week would it still count as one of the games or would he have to sit out an additional 4 games?

I don't think this game would count (but I suppose it could be retroactive?)

Yes, he would still have to sit out 4 more games once he goes on IR. 

Putting a player on IR frees up a roster spot. Right now, we've chosen to continue to invest into Jamar's roster spot in hopes that he will get healthy sooner than the 4 game window.

Yes, him and Hendrickson both got cleared and are supposed to play today.
