As a general observation I'll first say that the business as usual nature of the trade deadline being a nothing burger for us stings less now that we've made the SB, at least.
With that being said, it is a bit amusing that the 30+ year Mike Brown era involves zero mid-season trades unless a player demands a trade, wherein Mike Brown will state that he will NOT trade that guy because they would send the wrong message before making the only kind of mid-season trades he ever makes.
