Wanna know how I know we're going to win the Super Bowl this year?

Simply put: the Bengals under HC Zac Taylor have improved each season. Zac's rookie HC season, the Bengals went 2-14. Then the next season they went 4-11-1. Last season, they went 10-7 and made the Super Bowl. In order to improve upon last season, the Bengals will need to win more than 10 games which is, barring a disaster of epic proportions, almost assuredly a given. They will also need to win the Super Bowl to improve upon last season.

Thus, I have come to the conclusion that the Bengals will continue to improve under HC Zac Taylor and will win finish with >10 games and win the Super Bowl.

I only passed logic in college due to the curve, but I do remember that that is some sort of fallacy. It does feel like their year though.

I know they are going to win because they are hands down better than they were last year when they were a play away from winning the SB.

When you look around the rest of the league, what other teams that are serious contenders drastically improved from last year? Not the Chiefs, not the Bills, really nobody in the AFC is better than the teams we beat last year. In the NFC? I’d be more worried about the Rams last year than any of them this year. Philly provides a unique challenge, Dallas is good. SF is playing well but I won’t lose any sleep if we end up playing them. Vikings? Nah.

As far as legitimate contenders go, we are the ones who stand out. Now, you never know who is going to get hot at the right time and run from the WC to a championship, but I don’t see that happening this year. The conferences are top heavy with a bunch of mediocre in the WC races.

One game at a time my friend   I don't really see KC losing another game so they'll be the #1 seed. If we beat Buffalo and take care of all the rest of our business, we'll win a tiebreaker over the Bills.  So if they have to come to Cincinnati for a second time, I think we got them, but if we have to go to Buffalo in late January---Hold onto your hat. 

Although, I like the way you think; however, I'll let you know more about what I think after the Buffalo MNF.

I'm not so sure about that. KC struggled recently, had a hard time aganist the Broncos and almost lost to the Texans. They still face Seahawks, Broncos and Raiders, three teams that will be motivated to beat them. There is a potential loss somewhere.

I can't find an exact match for a logical fallacy in which past success indicates indefinite future success.  Not saying it doesn't exist, but I couldn't find it. 

There is something called the hot hand fallacy which is close (and pretty self explanatory). You could also call it a reverse slippery slope haha, where small successes snowball into bigger future successes.

The Vegas sportsbook has the Seahawks +9.5, and the Broncos are +10 and the second worse team in the league. I'd say it's going to be the Raiders who get them.

Anything but and it would be a disappointment and believe that the players all feel that same. This team when it is on is still the scariest 
team in the NFL and even when we get banged up the backups step up. We have improved big time from last season for sure and really
the coaching is much better which I think gives us the edge. If I had to bet on 1 team to win it all right now it is the Bengals.

We will see how it shakes out. Expecting the 49ers or the Eagles to win the NFC and be in the Super Bowl against us. We are down early
but storm back and win the Lombardi.

Oh trust me, taking it one game at a time. But people are sleeping on the niners on the NFC side. They are really a good team. I think teams will naturally sleep on them due to starting a 3rd stringer.

They are like the Georgia bulldogs of the NFL. Luckily we are like some team from Baton Rouge a few years ago…. I’m not sure why I keep drawing that parallel. :)

For sure, and that 3rd string QB in Brock Purdy outplayed Tom Brady the week before we had to face the GOAT.

The 49ers I think will beat the Eagles if they do face each other in the Playoffs.
