Nah, I am good with award voting happening before the postseason. You can be a great player on a bad team. The only time Calvin Johnson got OPoY votes was when the Lions were 4-12. It wasn't his fault they sucked, he set the single-season receiving record. JJ Watt won a DPoY when the Texans missed the playoffs, wasn't his fault, he got 20.5 sacks, had double-digit PDef, and got 6 turnovers.
