Jeremy Hill because Public Enemy#1 for trying to gain a few extra yards at the end of a playoff game
But we run to the defense of Ossai and his 5 tackle, 1 TFL, 1 PD game.
I think it shows the fanbase is maturing.
Helps when you know it isn't a once in a lifetime thing I think....
That stooler loss still irks me, but hey, it is in the past and the future's bright.

As a fan of the team, I don't hold any resentment towards Joseph Ossai for his untimely error, and do not feel like anyone else should either. He was just out there, playing as hard as he could, and got lost in a moment.
Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations

We are just going to have to circle the wagon around the team in the face of the celebrations of their defeat by those who wanted to see them humbled. I'm not going to pile on. Unlike teams of the past, you know they feel our pain.
Not a softy at all. The dude screwed up and he cried about it. Cried cause he cares. Clearly he gave us a real good effort in the game. Just made a really bad error which unfortunately couldn't have had much of a bigger consequence in a football setting.
I'd far rather this than him not be bothered about it. Sometimes there's a plus of something like that happening too. If he responds the right way, we may get a guy next year who plays out of his mind trying to make amends.

That's the key and why I said we're maturing as a fan-base. We expect to be back next year and have gotten the 30-year monkey off our backs

Well said Sunset. Sucks for everyone, loved how our buddy Boot Hill was backing our bro up. That is a great vid.
Come on man?

Let Pratt go he's an idiot running his mouth at the end of a game yelling at Ossai. You never ass out a player on your own team. I only wish Ossai punched him in the head for running his mouth.

I agree that Pratt should not have publicly yelled at Ossai the way that he did. However there is a time and a place for that sort of dressing down to occur, behind closed doors.

Will have to watch this later when I am not still too angry. Haven't seen this yet.
Just saw Ossai and Hill in that vid and that was a bit rough.
Wanted to sign Logan to the big LB extension anyways...

I feel like he made the choice between him and Wilson easier... If there ever was a choice. Bad look Germaine.
I'm gonna break every record they've got. I'm tellin' you right now. I don't know how I'm gonna do it, but it's goin' to get done.

This is where narratives get twisted. Pratt was not yelling at Ossai, he was yelling to himself. Ossai was nowhere near Pratt.
We're all frustrated that Ossai made a bonehead move, but it appears we've found our scapegoat in a dude who is one of the biggest reasons we've recently been so successful in the Post Season. I hope dude is here next year and for a few more

True but he wasn't behind closed doors he was yelling where everyone heard him. Enough so where a video exist it looked bad even bush league.

BJ Hill was like a mama bear protecting the cub. This is what team leadership looks like. THIS is what I prefer to remember from last night
That right there is amazing. Love that from Hill,

He was venting. No doubt fans will make more of it than is there. We're already seeing it. We have folks on here wanting one of our stars on Defense gone because of it.

I think Burficts was due to his history and pattern of just poor decisions on the field. Hills was just the weight of all the suffering and angst prior. It is easier when you’ve won 5 of your last 7 playoff games instead of losing 7 straight over 25 years

Let him go because he is going to want a lot of money, and he is not that good he's above average. He had bad game yesterday missed several big tackles.

Germaine Pratt has been one the the best stack linebackers in the NFL over the last two seasons. He is a shining example of this new Bengals Zac Taylor and Duke Tobin led team. It's a bad look for him in a crushing moment but this is overreaction monday so it's getting blown up a little more.
I do agree that Pratt is likely going to get a bag from another organization and that's not a of how little I value him but because they Bengals have another great linebacker about to get a bag too and he's the leader of the defense on the field.

Big huge difference between this and the Jeremy Hill fumble. Ossai was running at full speed trying to stop mahomes from getting the first down and lost track of the sideline. It happens. Jeremy Hill was specifically told by Lewis right before the play "Get what is there and go down" Hill lost the ball by ignoring his coach and fighting for unneeded yardage. These two plays aren't even close to the same thing.

BJ and Pratt are besties. I'm sure they'll, if they haven't already, have a talk. BJ was just supporting another teammate. Good, solid, team dude.
