Only If I Could Dream!

1)Micheal Mayer TE Notre Dame

If I had to pick a selection in the late first well this is it!
No debate unless...
Just do it!

2)Zach Charbonnet RB UCLA
The closest prospect to Mixon in this draft!

I love his running style for the division that we play in. The athleticism will be underrated but I like him in round two. If he he goes to the combine and...He may be faster than you think. Just saying.

Two of the last position groups I’d be looking at early on unless you aren’t signing Hurst.

Post your mock
You tell me how these two prospects can't help this team.
Also, let us know which tackles coming out of the draft that you like that are day one starters on the 2023 roster for the Cincinnati Bengals.

I missed three that could be in our range 1-4

1)Darnell Wright RT Tennessee

2) Dawand Jones RT Ohio State

3) Jaelyn Duncan LT Maryland

To be honest I believe that Conner Galvin may end up being the best out of the bunch. I like Broderick Jones but lets wait on the measurements at the combine. The great upside of him is his age.

Yeah, I'm definitely of the same mind. This draft class is very... let's say average in terms of OL, and our system has been unable to develop them anyway. Carman, Hill, Smith and Adeniji- I'd even throw Prince in the same category- have not contributed much. Volson is a success story just by default; I don't know if he even has a spot reserved on next year's unit. Jonah's been mediocrity personified since Day 1 (not to mention Price, Jordan, etc.). Zeitler may be our most recent win, and that was over a decade ago.

Conversely, we seem to do okay in free agency: Karras and Cappa were great, Collins had some spurts, Reiff the year before; Scharping struggled in limited action but no more so than any of the kids. I'd be inclined to continue signing bargain bin vets to the starting unit, and bringing up Day 2 & 3 draftees behind them for depth. We just have no foundation to throw them into the fire right away. So I wouldn't lose any sleep if we targeted another position group in Round 1... though I'm not sure Mayer's necessarily my guy. :)

All the offensive weapons in the world don't matter if your QB is getting sacked in 2.5 seconds or less.
