Postseason Tiebreaker Rules
#1
Reminder that there is no play-in game now if teams tie for a playoff spot.
Instead, it operates similar to NFL.
They go off head-to-head record now.

This is good for the Reds, as they hold the tiebreaker over the Diamondbacks and Cubs.
They do, however, have a losing H2H record against the Giants.

Where it gets tricky is against the Marlins, as they have an identical H2H record.
It would come down to intradivisional record, in which currently the Marlins would take that tiebreaker by 3.5 games.

It would take quite a bit of luck for the Reds to gain enough ground in that intradivisional record to get the tiebreaker over the Marlins, as there aren't many games left, and the Marlins would likely be out of it anyway if the Reds gained that ground with only ~12-14 games remaining.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.

Sorry for Party Rocking!
