Bengals bring back Drew Plitt as 3rd QB

This answers who takes the practice squad QB spot with McCarron activated. It may seem small, but what if another QB gets injured. Plitt has practiced in the Zac Taylor playbook before getting cut in 2022. It's getting rather late in the season to learn the playbook. Hopefully no more QB injuries and he never has to be activated for a game this last part of season.

The fact that we have/had a SB caliber roster, and we’re rolling with a QB who has never started an nfl game, an XFL QB, and a high school QB tells you all you need to know about the Bengals true expectations the rest of the year. And I’m totally cool with losing out and retooling this off-season. It sucks, and come Sunday I’ll probably be rooting for the Bengals to win, but deep down I know it’s better if we lose
