The playcalling on 1st and 2nd down
Has to be on point. Can't afford any minimal
Gains of yards or penalty
Vikings love to blitz and any kind of 3rd
And long can prove to be a long day for Browning.
I can envision a big day by Hudson and Jamar Chase
By having the Vikings pay for blitzing

27 -17 Bengals we have the better QB and our D should be able to stop pocket passer Nick Mullens. Vikings D is really good maybe a smidge better than ours. Their secondary does get exposed from time to time

TJ Hockenson may go over 1000 yards if we continue to allow TEs to roam free. The Vikings have a good run defense; we can't stop trying to run the ball if we fall behind early.

Oh boy, Hockenson worries me in this game alright. Think we ought to give Ivey a shot in covering him with his length. Hilton is too
small and our LB's aren't quite fast enough to cover a dude of Hockenson's ability. My worry as always is the TE leading up to this
game.

I dont really get it, does it matter that a TE is a leading WR in a game over a WR..you are not going to normally shut down all players, so Hockenson as a solid game so what if the rest of core does not do that much... think about it lets say this weekend Tee goes for 125 and a TD , solid game, yet rest of WR/Te go for 150 and 0 or 1 tds.. ive seen that in games when TE had a strong game against us but rest did not.. KC comes to mind

So last week the Raiders managed to score exactly zero points against the Vikings defense. Thursday night they put up 63 against the Chargers. Is Minnesota’s defense that good or the Chargers that bad?

31-19 for the men in stripes. Tee Higgins will go off. Murphy will get two sacks. Epic pick-six for Chido. Game ball to McPherson for the first 60+ yd FG in team history. Crowd will sing "Here Comes Santa Claus" at the end. Good vibes all around

You know, I don't really think the Vikings run defense is going to matter this game. I think this is going to be the Chase Brown party with him going over 100 yds rushing and 40 yds receiving.

It will be a TOP and ball control game.

Bengals 24-Vikings 7

A little from column A and a little from column B, I would imagine. Maybe 60/40 Chargers' suckiness?

Edit: I see now where Staley just got the axe. He's lucky they didn't escort him out at halftime last night.

That matchup is going to be as much fun to watch as the entire game.

I loved Darrisaw when he came out of VA Tech. Really was hoping he'd fall to 2nd round so Bengals could snag.
Dude is a really good OT.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.

Sorry for Party Rocking!

As long as they aren't scoring TD's it is okay. Kittle went off for like 148 yards on us but what mattered in the end was he
didn't get in the endzone. It would be nice though to see us have some success slowing down TE's though yardage wise as
well. Maybe Ivey is the answer, I don't know.

I think as long as JJ and Hockenson are not getting into the endzone we should be fine in this one.

That is the question. I think the Chargers are just that bad though and they wanted rid of Staley. That guy was a terrible HC IMO.

Good to know on Staley, I am not a Chargers fan or anything but I sure wouldn't be happy with him if I was.

So many talented players and that team couldn't do squat when it mattered under that guy.

called pride and NFL athletes, they tend to play better after a real bad performance

Jefferson looks like a go, so need a strong pass rush and strong tackling on the backend, going to be a close game, but feel we will still win with the home crowd helping
