Sometimes rumors can actually cause interest. If Burrow, and Chase made a call to Jefferson about the joke of a rumor and said let’s just give it a year and go win the SB. Maybe just maybe they do. More likely they don’t. But hey. Stranger things have happened

Do not see it happening per the cost is too great. But if Vikings just want out from under what it would require to sign JJ and took Tee and something reasonable ? Believe Chase did say once that he would take a pay cut to play with JJ, Chase and JJ may take the same deal to play together and maybe Burrow helps as well. Who knows.

Not opposed to it though if the money could be worked out, but still don't think it happens though.

Not saying it will happen, but... Vikes GM said they were close to resigning Cousins during the combine. Made it sound like Hunter would be a cap casualty to resign Jefferson and Cousins. They lost Cousins. Signed Greenard to soften loss of Hunter (although 12.5 sacks and 48 pressures replacing 16.5 sacks and 86 pressures is a big downturn when you also lose the QB) Jefferson may be pissed to see Darnold, or some rookie is supposed to throw him the ball. Before the combine the NFL Netork reported Jefferson said he "will want to know the quarterback plan before signing on for the long haul." If not this year, he may wear stripes next year

i will say if this does happen and the bengals win the super bowl in N.O. the whole scripted thing might be called into question
