Daily observations from camp
I would certainly bring back Carman to the practice squad if no one signs him. He is young and still has potential so I think some other team eventually picks him up however.

You never know, some team might be trying to clear cap space and if one of their younger players show potential, a good IDL could become available.  It happens from time to time.

Not a chance in hell I'd bring him back.  I'd bring Michael Jordan back before Carman.

That might be difficult because it looks like Jordan might be starting against the Bengals week 1.
