Rumor has it that the Pats want an internal candidate and the interview request for Brown was just to comply with the Rooney Rule.

They somehow need to fix that rule so they aren’t wasting people’s time and/or getting their hopes up.

it starts with some of these guys getting some self-respect and declining interviews that are clearly just a formality that wastes their time.
