4 years 140M, 110M guaranteed is the starting place for Jamarr after Jefferson signs

I was one of the biggest team Chase guys around, but if they did that (they won’t) I would forever question them for not just taking Sewell.

We are in agreement, you have to offer Chase a contract but not a blank check... i disagree with those saying he must get more than Jefferson

FWIW the ppl on here who wanted Sewell were right. Kid is a stud

But the Chase crowd was right as well

It was one of those rare draft situations where our choices were between 2 future HOF guys, we couldn’t go wrong

2024 could be a leap forward for Jamar and ancillary receivers (Iosivas, Burton, Gesicki, Irwin/Charlie.

Exactly and this is why I think it is the time to pay Ja'Marr before he really blows up the league.

Completely agree, you pay both Burrow and Chase no question. The question was always are we going to be able to pay Tee as well
which seems like a resounding no from what we are seeing.

I'm not sure we're gonna have that option with Ja'Marr... I think he's gonna bet on himself outperforming Jefferson this year (who's probably gonna be dealing with subpar QB play), and go for that largest WR contract.

You think if we offered Ja'Marr a contract just below Jefferson right now that he wouldn't sign it?

I think he would sign it. I understand that thought but to be locked in with Burrow for the foreseeable future is what I would think
Ja'Marr would be for more than the uncertainty of not in just betting on himself to have the best season ever by a WR. I do agree
with Ja'Marr though as I said, I think he is going to have a great year this year, better than any WR this season.

Either way I see it being us extending him, we will offer him the biggest contract ever to a WR if he earns it.
