#1

Davis (6-2, 320), a third-year player out of the University of Nebraska, originally was a seventh-round draft pick of Pittsburgh in 2020. He played in 12 games over three seasons (2020-22) with the Steelers, recording 12 tackles with three TFLs and one sack. He was not with an NFL team during the 2023 season, then spent the'24 spring season with the Birmingham Stallions of the United Football League.

He's better than Khalil, so that's a plus.

Not sure he makes the team, but we'll see.

This guy made a ton of plays for the Stallions in the UFL last season if I am not mistaken. Watched that DL dominate on a regular basis.

For sure the Stallions are going to miss having him out there. Glad that the Bengals are giving him a shot.

Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations

Watched him plenty when he was here at Nebraska. He always flashed, sp he might be the type of guy to get you 10-15 snaps per game.

Well, only if he makes the roster.
He may be back with the Stallions in time for their next season.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.

Sorry for Party Rocking!

Yeah, this is Carlos Davis's shot at the NFL. If he makes the roster the Stallions might miss him unless we cut him later in the season
and they don't bring him back. Similar to Hakeem Butler who was great in the UFL, we will see, with both Burton and now Chuck getting
hurt Butler has a shot, same with McKinnley being banged up for Davis.

Speaking of Davis, do we still have Demarrio?

This is true, however I'm truly pulling for him to make it. He was a double team eating machine this spring with the Stallions. The Steelers had him around for 3 seasons for a reason, hopefully the year off reignited his fire to play pro football.

You may be thinking of Domenique Davis #72 the 28yr old six foot two 330lb DT that has been on the practice squad since 2022. I thought he looked pretty good in last years preseason games. I think I saw he was on the rehab practice field this week working through some type of injury. I was thinking he might make the 53 last year, did not happen. I was looking forward to him playing,  maybe next week. Hope you enjoy the game tonight out there in the Star Valley

No he means Carlos Davis recently signed Defensive Tackle from the UFL Birmingham Stallions. Davis was All-UFL and second in the league in sacks in 2024 with 7. Domenique Davis is still dealing with an injury which lead to the Carlos Davis signing.

I was thinking of Domenique Davis, thanks. Makes sense that he is hurt and why we haven't heard anything about him, I agree that he
played very well last Preseason. Carlos Davis made a nice stop yesterday but other than that Bell #53 was about the only DT that impressed
me at all in this one. Hoping Kris Jenkins really improves as he was invisible as well as the 3-tech early.

We need Rankins, BJ Hill, Tufele and McKinnley Jackson to play and not do well before I panic though. Thanks for the shoutout WestCoast. Cool
