Hell Marvin, is smiling and giggling when we where getting blowed out. Don't think that's a gauge to use.

I agree, Bernard needs the majority of touches per game from any offensive player while Andy is out (or even when Andy is in). Next, Eifert. Next, Green.
Yep gio has been money most times his numbers have been called. At least on swing passes and such.

Why is it that every time there is an injury discussed on these boards there are so many negative opinions? So many "he won't be the same", "he needs way more rest than the Doctors and team advise", "no way will he be back". I have read through so many comments and not one has stated "I am a Doctor", let alone "I am an Orthopedic Hand Surgeon". Dalton will come back when it is healed and he can properly grip the ball. Once the bone is healed, and the Doctors say he is good to go, then he is ready to play... simple as that. He will get the best care that money can buy, he is young and healthy, there is no reason to believe that he will not fully heal from this in a very timely manner.

Don't you know you're not supposed to actually speak those words?? Now you have to immediately go outside, build a small temple, set it on fire, all while saying the phrase backwards seven times

Hopefully he can make a comeback this year and lead us through the playoffs. If we can still win the division and get a good seed the extra work for McCarron can pay off should AD not be able to go at some point during the post season.
All is definitely not lost. It would have been much worse to happen during a playoff game like it did with Palmer. Time heals all wounds. In this case AD's thumb (hopefully) and McCarron's inexperience. AJ will have 3 games under his belt if we need him for the post-season. That's invaluable.
.....on all accounts.

I'm trusting what doctors have said and going by what I've seen.
So far, the earliest they are HOPING for is week 17. Which is possible, since the younger you are the quicker your bones heal.

Just need AJ to guide the ship for a couple weeks.
The matchups are good.
Just need a great game against Denver.
Give Dalton time to heal.
You can bet he will do everything possible since hes a tough guy and I doubt he would want to end his coming of age year on this note.
If AD is healthy he is the guy no matter how the next 2-3 weeks go.

Exactly. Some people want to bench a MVP candidate who was having the best season of his career and arguably the best of any Bengals QB for someone who might do well against a Blaine Gabbert and Matt Schaub/Mallet led team.

If we can hopefully get a bye, I can see him coming back for playoffs.
Yeah, great news. This is the first i have been able to post since the injury.
Scared the shit out of me, but i do think we can win atleast the Niner and the Ravens game with McCarron.
If Dalton can return in the Playoffs we would still have a good chance of winning a Playoff game and making
a run at the whole thing. I didn't expect McCarron to play as well as he did just coming off the bench like that.
He did throw two terrible picks but i think he will learn from them. He has a good arm so he can get it deep to
our weapons. This is not as bad as i originally thought when i had us doomed.

You guys are spot on. Don't care how well AJ plays, Dalton should be our guy if he is ready come Playoff time.
Dalton has been amazing this year reading Defenses and has improved in every aspect. He is a better running
QB as well and the team knows he is the leader. He still will be our leader, just on the sideline for the time being.

They don't have to be doctors or orthopedic specialists, they stayed at a Holiday Inn Express the night before they posted!
