Cuts worth a look

If they're going to justify cutting a guy that "knows the system" like Tufele or Carter, they'll likely do it for a stopgap NT with experience.  This kid had 9 starts in 2022 and a few last year.  This roster really needs a true NT even if they have hopes for Jackson to eventually be a 40% snap count guy and the top 3 DTs will get most of the snaps you can't bank on that especially with the injury setback.  They may even try an stopgap like Bohana and if he doesn't work out they could trade for a NT before the deadline.

Colts waived 2023 5th round pick RB Evan Hull. I was a day 3 Hull fan reminded me alot of Sexy Rexy Burkhead.

Frank Gore Jr. Seems like he had a good preseason.

Terrace Marshall or Noah Brown could make a lot of sense due to familiarity with one or actual nfl production with the latter. Obviously brown has the NFL experience, but maybe Marshall has some juice and was in the wrong system. Panthers have been horrible developing receivers since DJ Moore.

Tre Flowers, nothing sexy but served a good role with the bengals. Our division is loaded with good tight ends, plus kelce, Ferguson, goedart and bowers this year. That’s at least 10 games against plus tight ends, and we have seen mediocre be challenging against us.

Perine. Like flowers, not sexy… but can be a productive piece.

I could see this if he had only torched us last lear, but he torched us when we last played Dallas too. Our safety room (the position that got the blunt of the blame last season) was much better in the 2022 season, but he still managed to torch us all the same.

It's just one of those weird anomalies where someone who looks average at best looks like Megatron when he plays the Bengals.

Liked him as a Day 3 RB and he showed out for the Bills in preseason, but was a victim of the numbers game.  I would definitely put in a claim on him.  Probably will never be an every down back, but I think he can be productive with a handful of touches a game.

Panthers, first in the claim line,  have claimed 5 defensive players.  3 CBs and 2 LBs.  And signed yet another CB to the PS

the corners
- Lonnie Johnson Jr.
- Tariq Castro-Fields
- Keenan Isaac
- Shemar Bartholomew

DE KJ Henry from Washington was the only player the Bengals successfully claimed. Henry was the guy responsible for sacking Jacob Brissette for the Pats that injured his throwing shoulder

Woot called it!

Henry former 5 star Clemson LDE good first step, strong with heavy fast hands, can really corner but not bendy (Trey type of rusher). Like most of these guys out of Clemson he was a better run defender than pass rusher. Love this claim stealing a year two developmental edge.

Romo “ so impressed with Zac ...1 of the best in the NFL… they are just fundamentally sound. Taylor the best winning % in the Playoffs of current coaches. Joe Burrow” Zac is the best head coach in the NFL & that gives me a lot of confidence." Taylor led the Bengals to their first playoff win since 1990, ending the longest active drought in the four major North American sports, en and appeared in Super Bowl LVI, the first since 1988.

The way he owned them in the matchups against us I'm not surprised they were on it.

Ouch. KC is out for a 3rd championship....

If they claimed 5 players, they had to cut 5 players.

I wonder who they cut and was it because they are looking to the future versus winning now with a rookie QB

I am so ready for 2024 season. I love pro football and hoping for a great Bengals year. Regardless, always remember it is a game and entertainment.

I know lots of love for him, but I still want Kareem Hunt after week 1 so his salary is not guaranteed

Terrace Marshall made it through waivers..... But it looks like he is going to sign to the 49ers practice squad. I didnt think he would make it through waivers. We should have picked him up for the practice squad.
