Dayton Flyers!
#1
Just beat #6 Marquette! Beat #2 UConn in Maui. They should be in the top 25 come Monday and damn near a lock for the big dance barring an insane collapse. Go Flyers!!!

I had game on, but I gave up on my Flyers before Halftime. So Dayton came back and won. Dayton had Tom Blackburn and then Don Donoher who played for Blackburn, and now Coach Grant who played for Donoher. The point being is that Dayton is back into the great coaching of Blackburn and Donoher with Coach Grant of great passing game and solid defense. Bobby Knight use to use Dayton game film to show Indiana team the Don Donoher great Defense and ball passing. Coach Grant is great and coaching won that game against Marquette who looked too tough for Dayton early on.

In 2020, Coach Grant took Kansas into overtime in The Maui Championship. Dayton was to be a #1 seed or a #2 seed in the NCAA Tourney, but Covid robbed Dayton of having one of their best teams ever seen by many.

Coach Grant is one of the best college coaches in basketball. Like Blackburn and Donoher, he gets more out of Dayton than most coaches could. I know these 3 coaches practiced Defense more than most schools.

Marquette players just looked too much. I missed out switching TV to the new Joker movie, and I found The Joker and Lady Gaga singing like a musical a movie that was a total waste of time. I should have stayed with the DAYTON FLYERS. THAT WAS A HUGE COMEBACK WIN against the #6 ranked team in USA. Plus Dayton use to play Marquette, DePaul, Xavier and Notre Dame Catholic schools every year, but those schools felt they were too good and stopped playing Dayton. I'm glad Dayton beat one of these teams and showed they aren't too good to play Dayton.

Dayton survives UNLV after getting damn near screwed over by the refs toward the end. Dayton was up 1 with about 30 seconds left. UNLV bringing the ball up the court and he forearm shoves the defender to the floor with no call and they hit a 3. Luckily Dayton comes back down and gets an and 1 with 8 seconds left and holds on to win.
