Russell Wilson MVP?
#1
Looks like Russell Wilson came back down to earth after playing the Bengals, last week. What a surprise? Who didn’t see that coming.
Last week he was the second coming of Jesus, now he looks less than average.

Wilson 414 passing against the Bengals, this week 14 passing against the Browns, I’m shocked. Lol

It’s only been a quarter. You still have time to delete this.

My mistake, he’s up to 21 yards, your right

Wilson threw open the receivers on both his TDs. (We won by 13). He also picked up 3 running 1st downs, with just one being a sneak. And no turnovers. His only actual reciever didn't even play. He got the ball out quick and threw it away instead of taking sacks. The one sack he did take was great because it was on 3rd down, up by 13 and 3 minutes on the clock. An incompletion there would have bailed out the Browns D.

Likely more of a testament to the futility that is the Bengal defense this year, than anything.

Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations

Not a single person thought that Wilson was either a potential MVP, and certainly not "the second coming of Jesus".  We all knew that last week was the result of playing a decidedly awful defense.  The only people who thought otherwise are in your head.

He did, however, pass for two touchdowns, no interceptions, for a passer rating of 101.1.  Not eye-popping, but hardly less than average.  He did what he had to do to ... you know ... win the game.

So ... MVP?  Hardly.  But I'm okay with that.  I'll settle for "Comeback Player of the Year".

Burrow is winning CPOY for sure, there's not a chance he isn't (unless he somehow pulls off MVP and they don't give him CPOY as a result).

But ignore OP: guy only surfaced when we started doing poorly and has been shitting on the team in each of his posts. Clear trolling.

Can't argue with that.  I hadn't seriuosly thought about who else might be CPOY ... just thought it was a good contrast to the OP's ridiculous assertion that there's anyone out there that actually thought Russell Wilson deserved MVP.

Comeback player of year? Joe will be getting that after the injury to his wrist.

Yeah, I already addressed that.  I wasn't trying to make a case for Russ after analyzing the field.  I just thought CPOY was a good contrast to "MVP", and something more in line for what he has accomplished.
