Jamarr Chase needs to realize
#1
He did his job if a team doubles/triples him all game. Even if he didn’t catch 1 ball, he’s done his job if he garners that much attention.

The things that’s making him mad really is that no one else is eating. It’s easy to sit in double/triple team hell when you’ve got a dude across from you eating good. But when you’re getting that much attention and no one else is doing shit that can make you very frustrated and that’s what we saw VS the Chiefs.

With that said Jamarr has to stay engaged. Not every team is going to defend him like this

Chiefs did if because Jamarr is their daddy and they are scary bitches whenever they even see Uno line up.

He wil have great games this year, he’s gotta be patient. No other WR gets the level of attention he gets and that’s not an opinion

With that said Zac Taylor has got to recognize when teams play this insane defense and he’s gotta scheme the ball to go to other guys. If teams are doing cover 3/2 hybrids to limit Chase we’ve gotta send routes deep, we’ve gotta punish them for dedicating 3 guys to Jamarr. When Jamarr has bad games it’s on Zac cause Jamar isn’t a scrub.

Wow, what inspired that post? Seems like he would understand that if he's the only viable WR on the field that he'd be facing triple coverage... Mellow

Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations

Chase said he’s looking forward to single coverage sometimes. I love jamarr but I hope he starts talking about the team more than his stats lol.

I'm sure that he's is looking forward to some single coverages, and who could blame him. At the same time, all of those times that he's in double and even triple coverage are all downs where his teammates get an opportunity to develop and grow as players.

If this latest situation where one of the starting WRs is injured has shown the team anything, it's that they need to have quality depth ready to play. The only way that happens is with live reps, not soft 7 on 7's in mostly non-contact practices.

Yeah, I don't think Ja'marr is going to get coverage like his rookie year. He will need to figure out his spots like Jefferson, maybe, otherwise be happy the rest are having success at the fruits of his labor.

It is an opinion about attention, give me stats?? Also majority of Chase games he has had a #2 across from him than most #1 , tell me who Jeffetson, Diggs, Adam's have had across from them that is better than Higgins for the majority of their career. Chase has had a better 2 for is short career than AJ had for his whole career now that is a fact not opinion.

I thought Gieski and Yoshi both ate last Sunday. I'm not really concerned about the offense I think this unit is capable of being the greatest of all time for a single season.

After his monster 1st game of 266 yds and 3 TD, the next five games Chase has just around 300 yards and only 1 TD, so the narrative he has owned KC is wrong.

If he wants to get paid like a GOAT he's got to get it done. When I look at Jerry Rice's stats my first thought isn't "Gee I guess no one ever thought to double team him."

BINGO

And you could go on with a long list of top shelf receivers.

Not saying Chase will ever be Rice, but c’mon now…

Yes. After that 1st game they have doubled him alot. That's why I think we came out throwing under to the TEs. We knew it would be tough sledding targeting Chase.

Chase acting like AJ Green, when he lost his cool and was gone soon thereafter as a bengal...a season later or so

I don’t think I’ve ever seen him cry once about not getting targets.

He was a ***** last week for chelping at the ref but looking at the replay you can kind of see why he did, that wasn’t far away from causing a serious injury and he’s already got the contract situation in the back of his mind.

When he gets his chances I fully expect him to go off this season hopefully with Tee back, Gesicki looking good and Burton getting more snaps this offence is about to explode.

We've seen him after wins where he hardly gets the ball and he's been perfectly good with it.  He's always questioned things when he's not getting the ball and the team loses.  Even before this year.

If you want him to be good with not getting opportunities that are going to others, get others around him that can make good on those opportunities.  If you're going to give guys like Gesicki, Iosivas, and Irwin similar targets while he draws coverage and they suck, he's going to want those opportunities.

It's like he should be happy with losing as long as everyone touches the ball like it's youth soccer or something.
