More offenses starting at the 30 is making drives shorter a 4th and 1 at you're own 39 is significantly different than own 29 even on own 34 most coaches with the exception of a few super aggressive coaches would punt but at own 39 instead more likely to go. I'm basing this off the new touchback starting point. I feel like it's hindering a QB's ability to have a monster game. Considering Andy Dalton through 48 games was only QB with 3td 300 yard game. It's almost like the new kickoff gives the NFL too much of an arena feel that's not a good thing but a bad thing.

That might be why teams are starting to focus on running and defense. It's like they don't need to go that far to get a score. Starting at the 30 is dumb. Not even 10 years ago we started at the 20 and not the 25. They need to put it back to the 20.

80 made FGs of 50+ yards 5 years ago (2019) among the entire NFL combined.
This year through 3 weeks? 42. So on pace for 238.
I'm with Brownshoe. If guys who can hit 50+ is going to be normalized, we need to go back to starting drives at the 20. Or we need to move the goalposts back further.
