Carolina Game Game Ball
#21

He was abusing #2 on their defense. Drew 2 big penalties on him, one led to getting the ball at the 2 yard line, which led to TD.

This was my vote as well

I'd take:

1) O-Line/Mims (no sacks + 100+ rushing yards),

2) Higgins (6 catches + some PIs).

and

3) Rehkow

over anyone listed. Maybe Jenkins, too.

Just realized Higgins isn't listed. He was a workhorse today with 6 receptions.

I give it to the RBs.. without them it would have been a frequent 3 and outs... Another thing i noticed is these RBs (Moss & Brown) know how to move laterally too even after the hit for another couple of yards... Mixon was dropped where tackled, never glided.

I want to give Hendrickson and Jenkins some love. They arguably made the two biggest plays in the game. Jenkins with the run stuff on the goal line stand and Hendrickson with the strip that lead to the Bells pick.

Jessie Bates left the Bengals and that makes me sad!

4-real?

1) WE don't award Game Ball to position groups or coaches

2) I love Tee and he did have more catches, but he also had fewer yards and TDs and committed a PI of his own

3) And that's more valuable to STs than a kicker who is perfect 6 of 6 on kicks, Hit one FG of 56 yards and another to clinch the game?

The "rules" I try to keep too when making the nominees:

No position groups or coaches

1 player per skill position

Equal love on offense and defense.

It seems often folks "dig" to suggest someone not listed and I get it, but none you listed come close to to matching what Chase Brown did today.

No one on the Bengals’ defense deserves a game ball or even any praise for the past two games.

While I wouldn't give him a game ball, Logan has been  superb all year.

If he continues to rack up the tackles, wouldn't be surprised if he gets some all-star accolades.

Another double digits tackle game.

Already voted Chase Brown and don't regret it...... but I did see where apparently this was the first game for Burrow since Week 3, 2021 where he didn't get sacked a single time? Almost seems too absurd to be true.

Could it be that the offenses that the team faced the past couple of games are actually better than you perceived them to be? That goal line stand on Carolina's opening drive, on 1st and goal from the 2, really set the momentum for the Bengals yesterday.

Always good to see this thread & have several worthy selections. I voted Chase Brown this week. Super pumped to see our rookies Jenkins, Mims & All jr. playing well also.

The question is not the 1st catch, but will he ever do it again. I think he will start getting down quick like chad Johnson or be tougher to get a clean hit on like TB.

Nice to see that the team made the right call in getting rid of Joe Mixon, as they aren't missing him one bit.

I think Mixon could have been RB2 for us but Moss seems to be blocking better than Joey Mixon ever did.

We feed C. Brown 15 times a game we're in good shape, we just need an average defense.

Eagles QB Hurts sacked 6 times on Sunday and Aaron Rodgers sacked 5 times. I think I might be dreaming to see Burrow sacked zero times.

Just one whiff, where Clowney had Burrow dead to rights and ended up with the Burrow interception. Otherwise, very impressive.

Mims played an outstanding game versus a former #1OA pick. Is it just me, or does the OL in general look like they're operating like a well oiled machine on those plays? I mean they're passing off defenders to each other and picking up stunts just like those 49ers dynasty teams. A little credit where it's due!

Disclosure: I was unable to view the game, as our power was still out, and could only listen via satellite radio in the truck. The description of the game by the Panthers radio broadcast team simply did not do the game justice.
