While we're at it, why don't we see if we can bring in Sauce, Fred Warner, and Saquan Barkley.

Yeah, I meant more like one of the players mentioned and a couple somewhat top tier at those same positions. DL mainly.

Trey and maybe BJ Hill while adding a Dexter Lawrence type would do the job
. Hubbard is playing better now that he is healthy but we
need top players on the DL and to let our youth grow in the secondary.

As sad as the Dax injury is he should be affordable after this injury even if he is now a Corner.

That sure looks like you're saying Crosby AND Lawrence (or another elite DL). Not one or the other.

That is true and I've mentioned a couple of times that they need to put their heads together and work to generate more outside investment into the franchise, so that they can operate similar to most NFL clubs when it comes to meeting the demands of guaranteed money in today's contracts.

Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations

I was just mentioning names along with Trey and BJ Hill needing to be extended. You are a desperate fella trying to catch me in something Lucius lol

We can probably only afford one of the big names especially after the Chase big ass extension anyways, should of gave him the guarantees.

Now if we're talkin trading away a 1st rounder + more for someone like Crosby but then trading AWAY Higgins to another team to get a 1st/2nd rounder back, that might be something.

Wonder if GB would be interested in giving up something big for Higgins.
Taylor and LaFleur have that relationship from their days with the Rams too.

I like that!

Lawrence would be exactly what we need. Would allow Jenkins, Jackson and Rogers to develop. But unrealistic.

I don't think disrupting the offense (trading Tee) to plug the defense makes sense. Maybe by November 3rd we have clarity about this season.......

Yeah, after we extend Chase we would have a real tough time signing someone like Dexter Lawrence.

I think we will start winning games soon enough, we never make mid season trades anyways.

I know it's unrealistic based off this franchise but we are an elite DE CB or S away from being an elite team that would comfortably match up against anybody. Only realistic piece to add offensively would be a beast RB and I don't think even that would move the needle
