They are if it is too late. We still have 12 games left, the last time I remember things were bad on Defense and they had a player only
meeting there was a discernable difference in play afterwards.

It's not to complain and place blame, it's to face up to not getting the job done, call upon every man in the room to find their alpha pride and come together as a unit. The change begins with an individual commitment to do better from every member of the unit.
Precisely this. You usually find a unit comes out and plays pretty hard after one of these types of meetings. Not just in the NFL, but in a number of sports.
The defence knows they're dropping the ball. A lot of it is on Lou in my opinion, but it's also on the players themselves. Their effort 2nd half onwards against Baltimore was pathetic. They know that too. Time to light a fire, and that's exactly what these meetings do.

Stick to the WR then use jumping ability to ensure the ball hits you or goes over WR head and reach.
When the WR is eyeballing the ball and about to catch it that's when you leap.
No, Cam's issue (at least in the Car. game) was trying to jam people on every snap at the line and they would deke him out, leaving him in the dust.
That's why there's a gap, not because he can jump.

It also became incredibly easy for Baltimore to complete passes after Dax Hill went down. They've now had a week to plan on moving forward without Hill for the rest of the year, let's see what they came up with.
Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations

The gap is not because he can jump it is because he does not try to stick with the WR and looks at QB letting WR get space. The separation happened down the field up the sideline on the play I am talking about not off the line.

Yes and he is a step behind because he loses the battle at the line, that's what I'm saying.

I did like that hit CTB put on that Ravens WR though I gotta say. I do love the physicality he plays with.
You guys are both correct about his struggles lately.

Definitely didn't help for sure. Though we didn't seem to have a defender within 5 yards of the Raven on any of their passes. Can't keep happening though so like you say, let's see what they've got for this week.

Still too many first downs. You have to take into consideration that no nabers and it was Daniel jones. It might (key word here) work next week, but they need to still get better.
