NO QUIT
#1
Bengals lost to a very possible Super Bowl team in The Eagles....But they can get after The Raiders and then hang a loss on The Ravens to get to 5-5 and 2-1 in AFC North play with games to take it to The Steelers.

Those ready to QUIT before Halloween, it is too early.  There is NO QUIT in Football.

GO BENGALS, beat the Raiders.

I will say Kevin, I do admire your optimism with this team. I'm not being sarcastic there either, fair play.

To add something to the topic, yep if we can beat the Raiders and then beat the Ravens, we're back at 500 and there would be some scope to believe again. On paper, we should beat the Raiders and we should already have beaten the Ravens, so it's not obscene to suggest this is possible.

My lack of optimism is more centred around the fact that we have looked like a poor football team for half of this season, and our wins are all against bad teams. We don't play many bad teams from here on out, and only have room to lose two more games at most. We still have Ravens, Steelers, Steelers, Browns (not a good team, but we generally struggle with them and Winston > Watson), Chargers. Cowboys are Cowboy-ing but aren't a bad team. Broncos are 5-3 as well. There isn't anything I've seen so far that suggests we're running through all of those teams. But I will agree that the Bengals have to be considered as 'in the picture' if we win the next two.

The offense has been inept half the season, the defense has been inept for almost 2 years, and the coaching staff looked inept for a while. I lost a lot of my optimism against the Commanders this year. Hopefully I eat crow and the whole team turns it around.

If the Bengals can't beat the "good" teams this year, they could end up at 10 losses.

My prediction based on how I've seen them play and what opponents they have left and where:
1-2 to get to the Bye week, resulting in 4-7.
3-3 to finish out the season, going 7-10.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.

Sorry for Party Rocking!

I agree the Bengals still have a shot at making the playoffs, as their worst football is behind them, now that the d-line is healthier, though the o-line is more banged up.

Anything is possible, though the play calling on both sides of the ball leaves a lot to be desired.

Someone should tell the guys who actually play the game. Me quitting or no makes no difference either way.

And right or wrong I'm not enjoying watching this team much at all. So if I quit its just mental health thing. Why watch if its no fun.

In what universe are the Eagles a Super Bowl team? And even more specifically, in what universe does this team get any more wins??

Oh they’ll probably win a few more and **** up our draft pick. Raiders and Titans are somewhat winnable.

They’re 2-6. It’s a winnable game. When two bad teams play who knows though.

I was shocked the Bengals are favored by 8.5. That's free money.

They were dead in the water in 2012 and 2014 and managed to go on a run to sneak in the playoffs... Having said that, this team isn't much fun to watch and it's getting harder and harder to justify setting aside 3 hours a week that could be spent with the family.

This is what we have come to. "They’re 2-6. It’s a winnable game". Time to make some changes and it starts at the FO replacing the Head coach!

Who am I to question Junior Soprano?

Clearly Zac was born under a bad sign with a blue moon in his eye.
