The question I have is why the defense seemed to be playing fine for almost three quarters, then fell apart and why our CB's are always 5-10 feet away from the catch?

If a team OCCASIONALLY loses close games that’s on the players. If a team CONSISTENTLY loses close games it’s the coaches.

Back judge missed at least two tackles.

Without Higgins, Brown Jr., and Jones, I'm not going to get horrendously upset by a one-point loss to the Ravens that was only a loss because the refs missed 4 freaking fouls on the same play.

Zac would never take the fine and speak out. That’s not how used Kia salesmen operate. He’s got a family to feed and every dollar counts!

2 terrible 4th down plays lead to touchdowns from the ravens, yeah, not on the coaches. You’re kidding us.

Yep, Zac should be screaming about it and saying if they want to fine him they should just watch the tape.

So frustrating to see Cincy waste the elite talents of Joe, Chase & Trey.

Agree with this sad to say. Always short and to the point is Masonbengals fan...

Few if any teams get blown out every week. Fact remains they haven't beaten anybody with more than 2 wins all year. MVP candidate at QB, and the best WR in the league deserve better.
I'm gonna break every record they've got. I'm tellin' you right now. I don't know how I'm gonna do it, but it's goin' to get done.

They had a 2 score lead in the second half.

yes, the Offense played a great game, The D played a great half.

There's a reason Lamar Jackson is on his way to his 3rd NFL MVP

The offense had it's moments it disappeared tho. They scored on the first drive and final drive of the first half. Everything between that was the typical abracadabra offense show. Where we could have pulled away when the defense was holding strong. I say each only had a great half of football.

Once the Ravens decided to start throwing the ball in the 2nd half, that was the ball game.

The Bengals rush defense is bad, but not in comparison to the pass defense and pass rush. There are so many holes on defense, we could’t fill them if the NFL gave us the first 11 draft picks.

We might as well cut our Punter and FG kicker and replace them with more defensive players.

We should be going on 4th down every time and forget about the FG. We can’t score enough points to win games any more.

We have scored 33, 34,38,41 and 34 points and we have 2 wins. 5 games of scoring more than 33 points and we are 2-3.

By going for 2 last night, it sent a message to the defense, that we can’t count on you to stop the Ravens from kicking a FG, with only 38 seconds left.
If that doesn’t say fire the DC (Lou), I don’t know what does.

I'm well aware of our record. But people act like we have no chance to beat good teams when in actuality we're losing games by less than one score. We've been blown out once.

Do you know how many teams have scored 33 points or more and lost the game this season, behinds us?

One team, the Indianapolis colts scored 34 and lost.
9 weeks into the season and we have 3 loses when scoring 33 points or more and only 1 other team has that same problem.

This is about serious penalties being committed against Joe that never get called.  It isn't just this game.  He's been roughed, hit in the head, hit late multiple times this year.

I guess the Ravens figure the refs aren't going to keep calling penalties on them so they keep on doing it. Or they are afraid of getting Harbaugh and the Ravens' fans wrath at the end of the game, but Joe Cool and Zac are not going to complain that loudly. The most Joe said was "I never get those calls." Mahomes. LeBron games, Harbaugh -- they go ballistic and put the refs on notice. At least this time the announcers and the analyst made of point of placing an emphasis on the missed calls and showing them again. Often they don't show the blown calls against the Bengals. Doesn't help the Bengals last night, but I'm sure the NFL and the officials felt the heat and maybe, hopefully, realize the Bengals are getting screwed because they try to act professionally rather than going ballistic.

I think they were more concerned about the game going into overtime, but your point remains the same.  Didn't trust the defense to make the stop.
Everything in this post is my fault.
