#1
Disappointed we ruined an all time performance by Jamarr 19th most receiving yards in NFL history he already has 2 in all time top 20.

I dont understand?  Essex said Chase had peaked?

Add this to the miles long list of idiocy by the front office in waiting to pay a very good player.  I loathe this ownership and front office, and......  ( I deleted my personal contempt wording.  Spending so much time and money knowing the front office's goal is simply to do enough to keep us interested is very frustrating.)

That's some pretty harsh wording but you know something?...It's the truth. This front office will sign an elite player or two but never a group of elite players, I mean game wreckers,  guys that can and do change an outcome of a game with a terrific play. They always claim the pie isn't big enough to go around, wasn't that Mike's comment this season? Other teams sure seem to make it happen. When they stalled on Higgins contract I said here just wait till they have to deal with the Chase contract and here we are. This front office simply refuses to adapt to today's player pay-scale and will always sign wholesale bargain players on the cheap. They did sign Trey and Reader to good contracts but let Reader walk, Bates before him. It's almost like they feel paying several elite players to today's big money contracts is against the rules (their own rules) and they are seeing the results which doesn't seem to bother them one bit. Apparently they are content with 8-9 or .500 in past years.

Watch, if they do manage to sign Chase they will not sign another elite player claiming the pie is gone and nothing left. Goodberry was right when he said the players and coaches are trying to play in the NFL with one arm because of a tight fisted front office. It's like trying to win the Indy 500 with a great car, good setup, top engine, great driver  but worn out tires. And owners refuse to put a fresh set of tires on the car.

The Bengals cant draft.......no scouts and Mike Brown in the draft room.........nuff said

we rely on Senior Bowls and Combine workouts vs hiring a real scouting dept who find football players.

These threads are really getting old. They are the same thing being said over and over. The season isn’t finished yet. Even if they miss the playoffs, I don’t think they will, you can still respect and enjoy the play of Chase and Burrow. It’s frustrating, sure…

Imagine breaking the NFL record for receiving yards, playing for a 4-12 team.

If the bengals lose to chargers, I’ll eat crow. But I anticipate/expect a 5-2 finish, or better, and headed somewhere to upset the 2 seed.

The players can defitniely fight back, they have in the past.  It would be great to see them win despite the poor functioning front office.  Of course pulling out some amazing wins will result in the front office thinking they are responsible for the success and nothing will change.  I hope they do win out, because the front office is never changing anyway.

Chargers have 6 wins and still have games against NE, LV, and DEN.
They've already beaten LV and DEN once, and the DEN game is home, so I think they got 3 more wins in them, for sure.
That would put them likely at 9 wins at least.
TB they'll also probably be favored, as they are favored against the Bengals.

PIT/BAL will win 1 of the WC spots given they already have 7 wins with 7-8 games left to play.
Chargers are in the driver's seat for another spot, especially if they beat DEN and CIN.

DEN is currently holding the final WC spot at 5-5.
They have what should be games in their favor against LV, CLE, and IND.
If they win those, that's 8+ wins.
ATL and LAC will be the big games for them aside from the CIN game.
Bengals will HAVE to beat DEN to have the tiebreaker over them, but this last WC spot is likely the only hope for the Bengals.

My prediction for CIN:
@LAC - loss because playing in LA (4-7)
PIT - loss (4-8)
@DAL - win (5-8)
@TEN - win (6-8)
CLE - win (7-8)
DEN - win (8-8)
@PIT - loss (8-9)
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.

Sorry for Party Rocking!
