Most likely, but I think Mims is the future. We're almost at the point of playing for that.

He was pretty good at Miami. He's a pretty huge effort guy that tries really hard. Tough guy too.

I think Mims is the present. He is our starting RT. I was responding to the statement Mims and Ford needed to switch sides. I expected Brown to be back before we play again.

Glad to see Tanner Hudson back, he had a solid game, adds to passing game and from PFF standards has solid blocking....

I got called crazy for saying he was ass last year at a time most ppl thought he was average

Dude has absolutely no power in the run game and is only average at pass blocking

His total lack of run game push actually drags him down to “ass” in my book

Karras held off a little longer than Cappa but he’s not good either. No ability to make any pull blocks cause he’s slow and he gets pushed back a lot. Hes just not strong or athletic. Same for Volson. No real elite skills. We got a whole interior o line of average dudes

I'd say karras is the only one near average. Volson and Cappa are terrible. Cappa was once good, but has declined greatly. Volson was ALWAYS horrible

Out of 79 qualified guards this season:

Cordell Volson ranks #79/79 in pressures allowed with 27 total.

Alex Cappa ranks #77/79 with 25 total pressures allowed.

Yeah it's not an easy move either. The footwork is basically reverse.

Let's take the ONE good lineman we have drafted in over a decade and stunt his development to move him to LT for a few games....?

I just don't understand these grades sometimes. I thought Tanner Hudson looked awful. He looked slow, hesitant and the route running left a lot to be desired.
I've been done with Pratt for two years now...never wanted the guy signed because he is just so bad in coverage but he insisted he should be a 3-down backer.

Matching 46.8s from our “big” free agent signings tells you everything you need to know. I was excited for Rankins and the dude is a complete non factor

Spot on lol angles are awful and even if he’s in position the he’ll give poor effort and just dive at ankles and miss. The kicker is he also can’t cover. So two huge misses in FA , are one young promising player on defense Cam-Britt looks awful, Turner 2nd rd. pick in year two looks bad, Murphy also not looking great, Hill and Atl coming of ACL’s. Outside of Mims and the punter no new guys have stepped up. Still think Jenkins and Jackson might have potential as run stuffers.

The biggest surprise to me is Rankins, he has been a good player for his entire career, unlike Stone who you are spot on with.

Battle needs to start, the Defense was significantly better with him out there and he gives us some physicality.

6 straight weeks of assy blocking. 7 pressures last night including a sack on the heels of 5 pressures including a sack two weeks ago. On place for 46 total pressures, would be a career high. As well as about 7 sacks which would also be a career high.

He's going the wrong way. Mellow
