Week 11 Injury update
#1
Brown and Higgins were close to being ready for last night so look for them to be ready for the Chargers

Joe Burrow had a bruised left arm. He’s sore but it won’t impact availablity. I’m sure the long weekend of rest will help.

I would not count on Higgins to walk an old woman across the road. His hammy will tighten up halfway across the road and leave her in traffic as he retreats.

Have to agree lol

We needed this mini bye though. Get this shit figured out while our players rest up. Burrow, Chase and Trey have played way too good
for us to be losing. Orlando will really help against that very good Chargers Defense, Orlando also has been playing the best of his career
this season before the injury.

BTW, Ossai actually looked good last night rushing the passer.

Higgins looked just fine dancing and celebrating on the sidelines.... If they or at least he was/were "close" then this was an important game as any to play. I know it isn't the 80's or even the 2000's but times has changed because back in the day in a big game like this, you couldn't keep a top player off the field. ..... But I know times has changed. Generations has changed.

You don't put someone with a long history of muscle injuries with a partially healed muscle injury. That is the way to lose him for the rest of the season

I saw that also.. Ain't gonna lie, the first thing I thought was, what a POS. His teammates are out there playing for their playoff lives and this guy is being a princess.

Based on Tee being in uniform and Orlando in street clothes I get the vibe that Tee will play and Orlando wont. Hope im wrong and they both play. They both participated in the walk-thru which is a good sign. Cody Ford hasn't been terrible filling in at LT so giving Orlando the bye week to get healed up isn't the worst thing if there's a high risk of re-injury.

Until Tee plays I won't count on him either. At least Orlando hasn't been injury prone in his career and that is a bad injury to try
and come back from, especially for a man his size.

I wonder if OBJr is sorry he signed with the Bengals now? Guess it doesn't really matter as the Chiefs seem to be able to plug & play as well or better than any team. Although the Chiefs are struggling right now.

objr has his super bowl. The bengals gave him more money than any team offered him. He is happy

unless he wanted to make the hall of fame, then, ya, cincy was the wrong choice

He wants to play Left Tackle. The Chiefs moved him to right.

Yep, Orlando is happy here and is a leader for us and was having his best season before the injury with us.

Our Tackle situation isn't the problem anymore thank God.

Uh Oh. Trey.......

The Cincinnati Bengals added some interesting things to the injury report before the team's Week 11 meeting with the Los Angeles Chargers.
There, the Bengals added a new injury to the weekly listing for Joe Burrow. While he practiced in full, the "right wrist" destination was joined by a "left biceps" designation, too.

The team also added Trey Hendrickson to the report and he was "limited" on Wednesday with a neck injury.
For Hendrickson, that's the first time he's been on the report since roughly Week 4.

As for Burrow, the biceps designation stems from that unflagged late hit he suffered during last week's loss to the Baltimore Ravens.

While both updates to the standard stuff aren't concerning, they are something to watch throughout the week alongside the injury sagas to Orlando Brown Jr. and Tee Higgins.

Well, if the management would have built the OL from the inside out, the interior would be strong and the Bengals would be able to run the ball, like other teams thought of as contenders.  Same for the defense, if they would have retained Reader and Bates, things would be much better on that side.

That hit on Burrow by Humphrey was so unbelievable late. To not get a call was ridiculous. Humphrey took several steps after Burrow released the ball. The refs assigned to watching for that should be demoted. Hell, both Humphrey and the ref should be fined.

What has Reader done last year for us and this year for Lions? Smart to let him go.
