Any Way To Fix The D?
#1
Our offense is putting up points, but our run D can't stop anyone and we can't get any pressure on the quarterback.

Is there anything we can do to improve the defense? Fire Lou? Sign FAs? Any available?

Is it a lost year or can we and will we do anything?

KC pulls out the in with a blocked FG.

Difference between KC and the Bengals is they find a way to win and we find a way to lose.

Trade deadline has passed. Signing someone else's cast-offs isn't gonna do it either. So I see no help on the horizon this year.

Get a better DC. After that sign or draft a few actual difference makers.
I'm gonna break every record they've got. I'm tellin' you right now. I don't know how I'm gonna do it, but it's goin' to get done.

Might get a bump from firing Lou. Maybe not.

The personnel just sucks. Could try Murphy more. Things like that.

One if the best head coaches/offensive play callers in NFL history vs what we have.

Hold people accountable.

We have had a bad defense for years, yet nobody gets fired.

It will most likely be status quo next year no changes in coaches or better play.

We have had a bad defense here for a long time we just got turnovers to mask it.

Fans seem to forget how happy we were to get DJ Reader in the first place and how lucky we were to trade for BJ Hill. Trey is about 2/3 of our sacks and pressures. Statistically both Ossai and Murphy are better at generating pressure than Hubbard.
All the DEs are better at generating pressure than our DTs. Believe it or not, but Zach Carter was better at getting after the QB than any DT on our team right now.

They didn’t feel like sending another pick for Ojulari or any Corner help.

Instead they trade for a RB and…sign another offensive player..
