I, for one, am glad the Bengals don't do guaranteed contracts...

Half of you bitched for months about Burton not seeing the field.

Now you are all ready to boot him off the team after two games with increased snaps.

Weird shit.

Some folks did, but not all of us! Wts, that half-assed effort last night, missing a walk through, and his lack of understanding what it takes to be a professional is what most seemed to be the most pissed about.

Kid needs to grow up! He seems to be one of these guys that will show out come contract time. After he gets his bag he's comfy!

It’s not as if your iosivas love, or deepest position group (WR) on the bengals takes came to fruition. I was in the camp of needing a reliable proven veteran instead of relying on unproven backups, for a win now team. When that didn’t come to fruition, you at least have to see what you have. You don’t cut him, or iosivas, but they are, as I’ve said before.. back end of role guys. If they turn into Marquez Valdez scantling, it will be a win. These are not guys you want as your WR2 or WR3.

I’d still take Boyd, juju, Dionte Johnson, renfrow and others that were, or still are, available for the 2024 season. This team struggles to balance the win now vs planing to replace players down the line.

It's not really weird shit and easy to understand why opinions changed. People wanted to see his talent on the field, but after he missed the walk through, which demonstrated a lack of professionalism, then opinions changed.

Are you sure it was half of Bengals Board posters?
