Germaine Pratt: We will win next week
#1
He stopped short of using the word "guarantee", ala Chad Johnson about 15 years ago, but he definitely sounds confident in his words.

Quote:The Bengals have been a disappointment this season. They started 0-3 and 1-4.

They remained optimistic that they could make a run, but they've gone 4-4 since their 0-3 start.

The Bengals are on a bye this week, before hosting Pittsburgh in Week 13. That's certainly a must-win matchup if Cincinnati wants to keep their playoff chances alive.

Linebacker Germaine Pratt guaranteed a Bengals victory.

"We will win next week," Pratt tweeted. "Believe that. Work to win."

The Bengals play the Steelers twice, the Browns once, plus they have matchups with the Cowboys, Titans and Broncos.

If they're going to turn their season around, it has to start on Dec. 1 against the Steelers.

Check out Pratt's tweet below:

Bold prediction.  Maybe in fifty years he too can be doing hearing aid commercials.

That was over 20 years ago... And I mean we certainly won't lose during the bye week.
I'm gonna break every record they've got. I'm tellin' you right now. I don't know how I'm gonna do it, but it's goin' to get done.

Very reassuring coming from him. Where has he and the D been since September? If he would wrap up and tackle guys instead of trying to rip the ball out maybe they wouldn't give up so many 3rd and longs. I'll never forget Pratt ripping the ball from Kelce here at home and we went on to win but lo and behold the Chiefs went on to win the SB a couple months later.

Unless he plans on brining out the defense from 2022, I'd keep my mouth shut if I were Pratt.

His side of the ball is the main reason they are sitting at 4-7, along with McPherson.

My guess it'll be a 60/40 Steeler crowd on Dec 1st so they boys might wanna get used to playing on the road the rest of the season.

We can certainly beat them as long as we keep Twatt from wrecking our Offense. Heyward is still a stud as well which is crazy
and he will probably hurt us, same with Ogunjobi with our IOL. Russ has been playing decent for them so they are better at QB
than they were last year by far.

The key will be slowing down their run game and not letting big plays happen on Defense. Our Defense played much better in
the 2nd half against the Chargers. So maybe they are trending in a good direction but Jordan Battle needs to play and Geno
Stone needs to be on the bench along with CTB. Murphy needs to start opposite of Trey.

I like what I saw from Fig Newton and Kris Jenkins against the Chargers so there is hope. Pratt honestly along with Logan have
been pretty bad lately and ADG has been our best Linebacker this year IMO.

Then you have to pray and close your eyes and hope Bankrupt McPherson doesn't miss another easy kick.

Personally, I believe they're losing both games to the Steelers.  Offense can keep pace, but the Bengals defense is softer than Charmin.

Yeah, Mcwhateveruwantocallme has me uneasy every Kick now a days and even on extra points.

What a change from when he was automatic as a rookie and clutch. The struggle is real for Kickers once a miss gets in their head.

The Defense is soft as Charmin when Geno Stone is in there. Jordan Battle clearly brings a much more physical presence and cannot
be worse in any facet than Stone.

Lou's insistence on playing 2 (or more) LB's every down kills us on passing downs.

Put a S in there instead. We have 2 S's who never play a down on D. What is the point of that?

I was pretty confident that the Steelers were going to win before Pratt said this and now I am 100% confident that they will.

Pratt just needs to shut it
